Course Description
This comprehensive continuing education course covers peripheral vascular imaging and nonvascular interventional procedures. Topics include arterial and venous imaging of the extremities, abdominal, renal, and mesenteric vasculature, as well as nephrostomy, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, myelography, cholecystostomy, ablation, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, and biopsy. Emphasis is placed on anatomy, imaging techniques, patient care, procedural guidance, radiation safety, and the radiologic technologist’s role in providing safe and effective care.
