Course Description

The importance and the volume of scans to monitor therapy for oncologic diseases are steadily increasing. This course provides a brief overview of the most commonly used imaging modalities and their benefits and pitfalls. This course focuses on the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy with CT, MRI, and molecular imaging (PET/CT) for several abdominal tumors such as neuroendocrine tumors, and metastatic prostate cancer.
