Course Description

Screening with low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) to reduce lung cancer mortality among individuals at high risk for lung cancer is a valuable program to reduce mortality. Lung cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States. Each year, more people die from lung cancer than from colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined.
