Course Description

This course begins with a detailed study of the heart—the pump that keeps blood moving through the vessels to deliver nutrients, carry oxygen, and remove waste from trillions of cells. Chapters also include how blood circulates through the intricate network of arteries and veins. The course also examines coronary artery disease, focusing on diagnostic methods and imaging, including coronary angiography. You’ll gain a clear understanding of the procedures, their benefits, and the potential risks and complications.
