Course Description

This course focuses on the various techniques for performing a coronary angiogram including room setup, various arterial access approaches, catheter selection, and angiographic projections. The anatomy of each coronary artery is reviewed including the radiographic projections to achieve the best visualization of the artery. Left heart catheterization and aortography are also featured in this chapter. This is a great review for any cardiac cath technologist.
