Course Description

Diagnosing breast cancer requires a multidisciplinary team. MQSA has provided a uniform structure for mammography and has impacted patient care. In this chapter, the need to expand regulations like MQSA to other imaging modalities is examined. Other factors including the importance of patient reminders that encourage patients to schedule their mammograms and the legal aspects of breast interpretation that impacts breast imaging are also examined.
